Ken Coleman is an Irish mixed media artist combining fine art training with photography, traditional sculpture, 3D modelling, digital painting and emerging technologies.

Ken is also a lecturer at 3rd level For Limerick School of Art & Design in Game Art & Design, Animation & Visual FX.
Ken Uses 3D Scanning technology to scan action figures, people and everyday objects. This technology has helped him along with his macro photography to combine a lifelong love of toys, Kit-bashing and fine art into many digital mediums. Ken’s workflow & Methodology is often about the subconscious & the processes of negative human emotions with a positive outcome. He Often combines the human form, other organic materials and mechanical parts.
Nostalgia & 80s pop culture have a strong influence and feeds into the work. Ken uses digital & traditional tools mixed with observations of human archetypes, heroic and every day, coupled with influences of fantasy, surrealism and romanticism.
